It all started back in 1985

It all started back in 1985, where we first opened our doors with the vision to tantalise Sydney’s taste buds with our authentic Mughlai cooking and tandoori flavours from North India. 

Surjit’s quickly became an institution in Sydney, entertaining everyone from Indian Royals to the Kings of cricket. Our chefs hail from the finest Indian culinary institutes, providing fresh and authentic Indian flavours, and crafting mouth watering food from exceptional vegetarian and non vegetarian courses, distinctive Indian breads and hand made desserts, that are fit for royalty.

Our restaurant is a family affair, you will always find Surjit at the restaurant welcoming and entertaining our guests, his son Rasan now carries on his legacy in offering uncompromised excellence in Indian cuisine, wine and unbeatable hospitality and hopes to one day pass this on to his son Dilraj, to carrying on the family tradition.
